Our Theo Wallpaper began with a simple idea: create a geometric that feels both structured and expressive.
At the start, we were drawn to the idea of rhythm in verticality. We wanted the pattern to feel architectural, with a nod to columns or facades, where the eye naturally travels upward. With a loose framework in mind, the sketching began — using circles, arcs, and linear elements as the core vocabulary. These shapes are inherently simple, but when layered and repeated, they start to create something much more complex.
As the sketch evolved, what became most interesting wasn’t just the shapes themselves, but the spaces between them. The positive and negative spaces began to interact in a way that felt dynamic. Each line and curve shaped not only what was there, but what wasn’t. That interplay is where Theo really came to life. Areas of openness gave the eye a place to rest, while more intricate intersections added depth and visual interest.
There’s a moment in the process where structure gives way to intuition, and that’s where the magic happens. The hand-coloring stage added warmth and subtle variation that we knew would be important in the final wallpaper.
Theo is ultimately about the balance between structure and softness, repetition and variation, form and space. It’s a study in how simple shapes, when thoughtfully arranged, can create something layered, dimensional, and quietly compelling.

One of the most rewarding parts of the process is seeing how Theo lives in real interiors, each with its own point of view.

In a sophisticated living space, Theo takes on a quieter, more elevated presence. The vertical rhythm and subtle geometry echo architectural elements in the room, creating a sense of order and calm. Paired with complementary neutrals, sculptural furniture, and soft textures, the pattern reads as both polished and understated—adding depth without overwhelming the space.
